Day 22 & 23

As I said the other day I got really sick waiting in the crowd to get on a tender.  I did our tour in Easter Island came back got changed went for pictures and to the Cruise Critic Meet and Mingle.  We then headed for dinner and as I was eating I could feel my stomach getting sicker and sicker.  So I went back to the cabin and was quite ill and stayed there all the next day and slept on and off and only had tea and toast.  It was a formal night and I hate to miss them but was too sick to get out of bed, I had to cancel my personal trainer and I missed one of our computer lessons.

Today was another sea day as we make our way to Pitcairn Island.  I was asked to be a model in Hubert’s Jewelry fashion show and even though I was not 100% I had given my word so I got myself together and went.  I was draped in almost $500,000 worth of rubies and diamonds, the ring alone was a 12 carat ruby!  I loved every minute of it and felt so naked when I had to give the jewelry back!

Somehow there was some confusion as we got a phone call that we were suppose to have dinner in Silk Road with someone else.  Well we don’t know who the someone else is?  Today of all days Silk Road (Nobu’s) is not on my preferred list as I still have not had anything but beef broth for lunch.  I will have to ask Antonio tomorrow who I was suppose to have dinner with because they never told me!  I was worried that it was for Ilene’s birthday and I missed it but I ran into them after dinner and that is the 11^th.  So who was it with and why didn’t they tell me?????

Tomorrow we cruise by Pitcairn Island the home of Mutiny on the Bounty and we are not allowed to dock.  There are only 43 people who live here and a good majority of them will come aboard and sell their homemade crafts.  It is too dangerous for the tenders.  Even the mayor will be onboard.  This should be interesting.  We do get our passports stamped since we are stopping and letting them on!  We then have 2 sea days and then Papeete, Tahiti I am so looking forward to finding an internet café as the internet has been non existence.  It keeps telling me I am connected and when I try to open something it says you are not connected.  I even had Jackie in the computer room tell me it was bad!

We are having a great time except for the fiasco trying to get to tenders in Easter Island.  Now I know I can’t take crowds for sure!

Unfortunately Bill did not get a shot of the gorgeous diamond bracelet!  I was in heaven even considered jumping overboard! HA HA
